“City of Villains” is the first expansion for “City of Heroes,” and allows players to create a supervillain. Like “City of Heroes,” there are power classes based on traditional MMO ones, such as tank, support, and DPS.

The gameplay is largely the same, except with players perpetuating crimes rather than stopping them. One new feature is the ability to build a customizable fortress of evil, serving as your evil lair.

“City of Villains” now comes sold in a bundle with “City of Heroes,” giving players the choice between good and evil. Collectively, “CoH” and “CoV” are known as “CoX” by its players.
