EverQuest 2 is the sequel to the forerunner of the modern MMORPG, EverQuest. The MMORPG is much more casual friendly than the original EQ, and the graphics are vastly updated.

The MMO features 19 classes, split up among Good, Neutral, and Evil allignments. There are 24 classes available, giving a huge number of possibilities for players to select, especially when you take into account the various customizations players can do with their avatars.

Sometime in the latter portion of 2010, SOE will begin EverQuest 2 Extended, a free-to-play version of the game which will operate using microtransactions, similar to DDO.
