Jade Dynasty is a new free-to-play MMORPG from Perfect World Entertainment. In it, five factions -- Jadeon, Skysong, Vim, Lupin, and Modo -- are all vying for the secret of immortality. Players are put into this struggle, and can choose which faction to join once they hit level 15. Each faction has a different role, taking the place of classes.

In its first expansion, Ascension, the gods have learned that the people have come close to immortality, and intervene. This allows for the playing of two demigod classes: the Arden and the Balo. Soon, the second expansion for the MMORPG will be released and two more classes made available.

In addition, Perfect World has a much more in-depth pet system than many other MMORPGs, free-to-play or subscription based.
