“Shaiya” is another MMO heavily inspired by “Lineage II.” Unlike many of those titles, though, “Shaiya” brings plenty of unique elements to the table, including faction-wide buffs for PVP, and the lapsis (or gem) system. Its most unique feature is the ability to pick your own difficulty before you create your character.
Easy gives you the fastest EXP, but limits characters to a level 30 cap and weak equipment/less skills. Normal is the baseline for experience, skills, and gear. Hard is unlocked when you get to level 40 in Normal, and will give you new skills, items, and quests – but experience is 4x the Normal rate. Ultimate is the hardest mode, and is unlocked when you have reached level 40 in Hard. Hardest requires slightly more experience than Hard, and grants access to the best equipment. It also has the biggest risk, though. If an Ultimate Mode character dies and is not resurrected within 3 minutes, they're permanently deleted.
There are two factions to pick from, and 12 classes, with 6 on each side.
